A Butterfly Wish Come True: Celebrating Isabella Violet Key and Her Debut Book “Free to Fly”

ree

Nestled in the heart of my hometown, Freeport, FL blooms a story as beautiful and inspiring as the young woman behind it. Isabella Violet Key—model, sweetheart, and now author—has just released her very first children’s book, Free to Fly: Kathy Lou’s Butterfly Wish, a heartfelt tribute to her late grandmother that is already touching the hearts of many.

Isabella, who recently earned the prestigious title of 2024 USA Top Model, is proving that her talents go far beyond the runway. With grace, passion, and a spirit rooted in love, she’s brought to life a book filled with whimsy, warmth, and wings of legacy.

Free to Fly is more than a story—it's a memory wrapped in magic. Inspired by her Nana Kathy Lou’s enduring love and gentle strength, Isabella has turned grief into beauty through the story of a butterfly, symbolizing the freedom and hope we all long for after loss. Every page flutters with vivid imagery and emotion, a reminder that our loved ones never truly leave us—they just learn to fly a little differently.

I had the honor of capturing these dreamy portraits in my parents' garden, making this whole experience ever more special for me. With a stunning floral dress and a bright blue hydrangea (grown by my mama) tucked behind her ear, Isabella radiated joy, peace, and the quiet confidence of someone walking fully in her purpose.

As a photographer, moments like this are why I do what I do. Watching a young woman from our small town grow into an author, model, and beacon of light for others is a gift. I know her Nana is smiling from Heaven, so proud of the woman Isabella is becoming and the legacy she’s building.

To Isabella: thank you for sharing your story. Your words will inspire, your wings will lift others, and your heart will keep Kathy Lou’s love alive in the most beautiful way.

📖 Free to Fly: Kathy Lou’s Butterfly Wish is now available—don’t miss the chance to add this stunning debut to your bookshelf or gift it to someone who could use a reminder of hope.
